My thoughts on this issue....

First of all let me inform you of what going on....so the legislature would like to pass a law banning the use of plastic bags here on the big island. Apparently Maui has already enforced this law and it did not work out well for them.
I like the idea of having an extra discount if you use a non-plastic bag or they should do like how they do cans, and give you 5cents every time you recycle your bags. Humans need an initiative. It is less likely for someone to reuse or recycle anything if they don't get something out of it right away.
